[isabelle-dev] problems with the class-package

Those problems this e-mail conversation has referred to were about
reading class specifications and did not refer to the locale/expression
code itself but rather to the question how to instrumentalize it to get
the thing done.

The only real problem I have stumbled over was prep_inst in
expression.ML, which used an accidental parse_term on internal variable
names.
